Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year!! Brayden had a great Christmas (got more toys than he knows what to do with), he probably expects more presents this weekend since his birthday party and Christmas were back to back! He went in for his 1 year appointment today, he is 32 inches tall (in the 99th percentile) and 25 pounds (in the 50th percentile), he feels much heavier than that though! He also had 5 shots today, which he did NOT like at all, I dont know who cried more, Brayden or mommy. Have a safe and Happy New Year!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRAYDEN! We had his birthday party at Abbys Pizza last night and he had so much fun! He ate 3 pieces of pizza, plus a whole cake as you will see in the pics below. Thank you everyone that made it and sent cards!! We are still getting used to the idea that he is one year old! Wishing you all a happy holidays!

Dear Brayden,

Today is your 1st birthday!! I cant believe that this time last year we were in the hospital anxiously awaiting your arrival. 9 pounds and 10 ounces later, there you were. When I first laid eyes on you I was surprised, your face was all smashed up and you kinda looked like a troll......little did I know that I would end up with the most beautiful boy in the world. You are so handsome, you look just like your daddy. Right now you are looking out the window and the birds and running through the living room and trying to eat my toes! I just marvel over you every day........I cant imagine my life without you in it. You are such a blessing, and SO SMART......even though I miss the days of you being a baby, the constant change in you is exciting and makes every day with you a joy. Your daddy and I love you so much, it has taken us both by surprise. Everyone meets you loves you, you are the light in so many peoples lives and we love you so much for it. I cant wait for your birthday party this weekend and watch you eat cake for the first time!! Happy Birthday my little man, we love you very much.

Hello everyone! I cant believe it is December already!! Brayden is doing well, he has had a little stomach bug the last couple of days but you could never tell by this picture! He seems to keep in good spirits even when he feels bad. He is saying a plethora of new words including (but not limited to) MaMa (my personal favorite!), Dada (old news), outside, LIIGGGHT!, doggie, and Wassat? It is pretty amazing how much they change in a mere 365 days. I cant believe his birthday is almost here!! I will probably post again before his birthday but everyone have a safe and happy holiday season!!

Happy Thanksgiving Everybody!!

Hello everyone! We FINALLY had a day of sunshine, so I took Brayden to the beach! We had so much fun, he relly loves being outside. As you can see, the swing is also a favorite of Braydens. We are all doing very well, Brian is doing the same old, same old at work.....I am still not getting as many hours as I would have liked but at least it is something. We are hosting Thanksgiving at our house this year, we have some girls coming up from Seattle and some from Bellingham, not to mention my mom from Wenatchee, so we are going to have a full house!!Brayden is going to love it, I am really excited! Hello everyone!! Brayden started talking the other day, he said DUDE!! Yeah, I know, thats a funny first word but oh well. We are all doing well, Brayden loves daycare and I am having fun going back to work (we open the restraunt on Monday!) and Brian is doing the same old same old at work. Brayden has sprouted 3 new teeth, bringing the grand total up to 7......so he has been quite the crank lately. Hope everyone is doing well........Happy Fall!!

Look how BIG he is! Brayden will be 10 months old on the 13th!! Brayden started daycare this week, we found a great home care thorough the Navy, the woman who takes care of him is fantastic! We really like her, she is great with Brayden. I started work on Monday, all is going well and we open the store on Monday the 10th....hopefully all goes well!! I hope everthing is going well for everyone (Gma Hicks is probably having a great time in Italy!). Love you all!!

We went to Wenatchee last weekend and Mommy and Daddy went camping, while Brayden stayed with his Nana. Nana took him shopping (of course), and also went and TRIED to get his pictures taken. It wasn't happening....we tried again Sunday before we left to come back home and we got like two good ones, so here they are! Brayden is doing great, he stands by himself now for about 1 minute and then remembers he doesn't have his hands on anything and sits down. We also went to Brayden's 9 month appointment, he is doing great, in the 110% for height (32 inches) and in the 80% for weight (22 pounds). We got some bad news that Brian's grandmother passed away today, please pray for his family at this difficult time. Love you all!!

Hi everyone! We got two cd's full of pictures from Brian's parents in the mail today, thank you!! Brayden is doing well, he is standing on his own for about 15 seconds and then he falls down......:). He is cutting his eyeteeth right now so he is really not a happy camper. Brian and I thought he may be teething and then after his bath we forced his mouth open (didn't like that much!) and there one was! It has popped through the skin so maybe tomorrow he will feel better. I got a job serving at Applebee's so soon Brayden will be going to daycare.......I think he will like it, he likes other kids!!
